What is "biodegradable plastic"? |
|
Biodegradable plastic is plastic made from
the lactic acid obtained through fermentation of cornstarch.
This is totally new and non-petroleum
plastic. It allows for disposal of
wastes in a way that is friendly to the environment.
In the soil or water, microbes convert the
plastic into water and carbon dioxide, and then green plants take them in
through the process known as photosynthesis, converting once again to starch.

Society, and have obtained the “Green Pla Mark”
